The Audi e-tron was one of the first premium electric SUVs when it launched in 2018, but a few years on and the brand’s first production EV was being left behind by newer rivals from BMW, Mercedes, Tesla and Polestar. However, Audi has now responded by giving its flagship SUV a substantial facelift, bigger batteries, new tri-motor performance model, and even a new name: meet the Q8 e-tron.
